Risk Management & Insurance

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ maintains a program of self-insurance for all of its general and professional liability.  That program is administered by the Office of Risk Management and Insurance.  General liability insurance is provided by the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ General Liability Trust Fund for all ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ general liability matters and it includes self-insurance for all ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½-owned vehicles.  Professional liability insurance is provided by the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Professional Liability Trust Fund and it insures all of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s healthcare professionals, including attending physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and all of our students in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ College of Medicine, the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ College of Nursing, and the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professions.
