DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, THIS CONCERT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

 

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Brass Ensembles will perform their Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.  The ensembles are directed by Dr. Peter Wood. One of the highlights of the concert will be the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Trumpet Ensemble playing Dave Brubeck's Blue Rondo a la Turk, while the rest of the evening will be filled with brass music by the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Horn Choir, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Trombone Choir, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble and the Lavender Brass Quintet.

Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ faculty & staff, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event.
